Aspirin is being trialled as a potential breakthrough treatment for aggressive breast cancer
Taking aspirin with immunotherapy drugs could improve their effectiveness in people being treated for aggressive forms of breast cancer. The cheap and massed produced painkiller is being tested in a new clinical trial alongside the drug avelumab to determine whether it can make tumours more responsive to immunotherapy in patients suffering with incurable secondary triple negative breast cancer.
